Maximizing Free Time by Minimizing Waste

Keeping things organized isn’t just about making sure every piece of furniture and gadget is arranged meticulously or stashed away systematically. A large part of being efficient is actually making sure that your time is well spent. If you’re sure that most of your time is spent on things that matter, then you’ll find more free time to organize the rest of your life.

The easiest way to go about this system is to start focusing on the more important events. Big meetings and corporate events take precedent over everything else. All other activities must therefore lead towards this end. Of course, it’s acceptable to take a break every now and then, but if you add up all of your short breaks and they total to almost half of all your time, then you need a big change in your system.

Over time, you’ll find that the more you spend on these important occasions, the more you get organized. This inevitably leads to being more prudent not only with your free time, but also with your money. You’ll begin to focus on the things that matter, and since you’ll see everything through a more discerning lens, you’ll be saving more time and money in the end.
